Thoughts of this idea popped up to ensure bicycles too can be traced when lost or stolen. Registration of number plates assigned to these bicycles will be the same as any other road going vehicle.
The main reason for the idea is to cut down on the number of accidents occurred due to the high rising number of people turning to bicycles as their means of transport.
