Which Style is TIMELESS?

When it comes to styles for show plates, there are quite a few.  You can get all sorts of gel and laser cut styles, from basic ones to extremely ridiculous looking wild creations. However, in our personal opinion, and we’re not shy to put this out there. There is nothing better than the plain old printed styles for custom number plates.

You’d question yourself as to why we would say such a thing, why not say the most expensive style is the best? But that would be lying, and we’re not about that.

Here are 3 reasons why we like printed styles the best!

• Cost – Printed styles are the cheapest style of show plates, because no additional materials are involved to inflate the cost.

• Durability – Printed styles wont suffer from letters falling off through impact or general test of time when the adhesive weakens (which can happen). The graphics are trapped within, so generally all is well for a long time unless the drill holes allow water ingress over time and cause delamination.

• Visual Appearance – Printed styles, providing the plate is of high quality construction, give a unrivalled clean look. With no lighting or angles affecting the appearance. For instance, 4D styles cast a shadow under certain lights which causes excessive shadows which can often make characters unreadable.  Printed styles also give the vehicle a clean look, because a custom number plate is supposed to be just a plate, any attempt to enhance it with fancy raised characters can make expensive vehicles look a little tacky and cheap.

But these are just our opinions, and we’re just honest. Other styles are still available from ourselves and everyone deserves to get what they want. But we thought we’d put this out there for anyone looking for some inspiration or guidance.
