When choosing number plates for cars, many don't like having combinations which read their name, but prefer those which can relate to the car they own. These people often be collectors of modern classic vehicles who try to spot an opportunity to purchase good combinations they could use for their collection of cars.
Makes and model number plates are basically combinations of number plates which perfectly or roughly make out the make or model of a car and are for the car they are registered to. For example a Golf GTI and the number plate says 'GT99 OLF'. These kind of combinations are ideal for those people who don't like holding onto their number plates and would rather sell with the car they are attached and make it a reason to increase the final sale price due to the matching number plates.
There are many great combination which exist that are dedicated to matching the make or model of a car, and our personal favourite is the registration from the UK, which was once rumoured to be owned by David Beckham on his Aston Martin DB 7, the registration being 'DB 7'. We agree that anyone would love to own that combination if they had a DB7!
